At 1223 hours the Truck was dispatched to Crystal City as the second due truck for a fire in a building under construction. Early reports had a tower crane operator trapped in his crane. That information prompted the request for the Tech Rescue Team. Despite the heavy smoke visible as units responded, it turned out to only be a tar pot on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by construction workers and Engine and Truck 105.
